Made from hardened alloy steel, these BT40 SLA Holder is also known as SIDE LOCK HOLDER Hardened to 54 to 56 HRC +/- 2. Each individual unit is tested & machined to balance upto 15000 RPM machine speed. Concentricity is less than .005 micron upto 100 Length and 0.012 upto 200 Length BT40 SIDE LOCK Is mainly used to hold cylndrical/ straight shank of anything like Indexable cutter , Baby chuck , Carbide drill etc having straight shanks. These are being used for a strong & rigid hold. It ranges from 16 mm to 40 mm capacities. Pls chose from the drop down menu as per your requirements. All critical tool holder surfaces are precisely ground for precision results. Gage length is 50 mm, 100 mm & 150 mm Rear thread for pull stud is M16 X 2.0
