If you have spinning or damaged transmission / transfer case skid plate nutserts in your frame rail and would rather replace them with a weld in option these are what you're looking for. This kit includes US made heavy duty weld in nuts and the correct skid plate bolts for 1987-2002 Wrangler YJ and TJ. The nuts ship bare steel, they must be welded in and they are 3/4" OD so the factory 5/8" nutsert holes must be enlarged. The skid plate bolts are Grade 8 hardened, yellow zinc plated and they have the correct countersink. Replaces 6035739 and 6035836. These do not fit 2003-2006 TJ or LJ.
