Real Carbon Fiber Construction We manufacture these high-quality carbon fiber chin spoilers in-house, so fit and finish is assured. Beginning with HexForce 284 2x2 twill weave carbon fiber fabric we hand lay the material up in our precision mold using Stypol resins and HK Research’s HydroShield high-quality marine-grade clear gel coat finish that can easily be “cut and buffed” to a show-winning finish. For enhanced strength we use two layers of the carbon fiber fabric with 1-ounce chopped fiberglass mat sandwiched between them. This provides for a superior product with real carbon fiber exposed surfaces. Bolt-on Installation with NO cutting These chin spoilers are molded for an exacting fit and provide that modern updated look many “restomod” builds are itching for. With no cutting or other modifications to your F-body you can have this chin spoiler mounted in short order; and because it is made from real carbon fiber material and not a vinyl-wrapped plastic part or a carbon-look hydrographic, it is stronger and lighter than a typical steel or even ABS plastic chin spoiler. We have provided indents for the factory fastener locations that require a simple opening with a drill bit once you have lined everything up
